High Tech Genesis is looking for engineers to work across our suite of products, tackling full-stack, infrastructure problems as the last line of defense. You will be an active member of the support team and contribute to support queries and code reviews, but also opportunities to do the design, implementation, testing and delivery of state-of-the-art engineering development and workflow infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
1. Act as a Support Engineer to the Sustaining Software Development Team.
2. Take responsibility for level 2 and up support issues such as bugs and enhancements.
3. Work with customers to understand and recreate the issue, as well as to verify the solution once fixed.
4. Take ownership of bug fixes.
5. Escalate complex issues as necessary to development.
6. Continue to learn and contribute to more software development projects and feature development as you progress your skills on the team.

• 
  3+ years’ experience working OOP Python and using concepts such as Class inheritance and more advanced python concepts such as programing content generators and decorators

• 3+ years of Development on Linux OS

• 1+ year of Jenkins experience for CI/CD

• 1+ year of GIT Experience (Strong experience with Git Commands: “Add”, “Commit”, “Push”, “Merge”)

• 1+ year of Software Support experience or equivalent demonstrable experience

STRONG desirable skills:

• Experience working with Networking technologies, routing protocols (ex. TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS)
• Experience with a Python Framework; Django, Flask, or equivalent
• Solid experience with Software Testing: (Manual / Automated).
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Experience using Traffic Generators (ex. IXIA, Spirent, TREX)
• Experience with Front End technology: Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, Angular or equivalent
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
